Eric MONTALBETTI founded ALLEGRETTO in 2015. The company works as Consultant in Artistic planning & Management, and develops its own productions. 

An expert in classical & contemporary music production, Eric MONTALBETTI was the Artistic Director of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France from 1996 to 2014, where he invited and developed a personal relationship with most of the greatest conductors, soloists and composers of our time.

A graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po) and a composer, Eric MONTALBETTI started his career at the French Ministry of Culture from 1990 to 1993, before founding and being the Chief Executive of the Association of French Orchestras (A.F.O., formerly Conférence permanente des orchestres français).

He was also a board member of the French Youth Orchestra (Orchestre Français des Jeunes) and a member of the artistic committees of the French-American Fund for Contemporary Music (FACE), the association Messiaen2008 which coordinated the Messiaen centenary, and the New-York Kravis Prize.

He is also the expert consultant and member of the jury of the Young composers programme of the Beijing National Centre for the Performing Arts in China since 2017.
